From the Airport (PBM / Zanderij) to Paramaribo and vice versa

For the airport transfer, we recommend using a taxi. To make sure you'll have a reliable taxi driver, we recommend you let us book your cab.

The rate from a drive to and from the airport to our hostel is € 40.00 or the equivalent in USD or SRD based on the daily exchange rate, as of 1 April 2024. The drive from the city to the airport is approximately 1,5 hours.

We recommend that you email us at hello@twenty4hostel.com in advance if you want us to book your taxi. Also, please provide us with your flight details.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi (or a shared taxi) to the airport. However, airport taxis tend to be more expensive, and we recommend you negotiate a price beforehand.

Do you feel very adventurous? A public bus is also available that runs from the bus station at Heiligenweg in Paramaribo to the small town of Zanderij. The town is about 200 meters walking distance from the airport. The bus only runs twice daily, in the morning and afternoon. The price is only around 20 SRD. This service is so irregular that we can't tell you where it leaves and what time exactly. However, you can go there a day in advance to confirm the departure times of your trip and inform them to buy your tickets. It takes 10 minutes to walk from our hostel to the bus station.

Our address is Jessurunstraat 24 in Paramaribo. It can be reached from Henck Arron Street or Koninginne Street. You can also just type 'Twenty4 Hostel' in Google Maps.
